The world of musical accessories, especially for woodwinds, is very underdeveloped, don't you think? It was with this thought that I made my first reed case, for myself. It wasn't anything like what you'll find among my cases now — it was rough and unrefined — but it opened up a whole new world of possibilities and ideas I could bring to life, ones I hadn't even thought about before.

Hello, my name is Valerii and I'm the founder of FswStudio. This little corner is my passion, and I'm the sole proprietor of the company, so everything you see — the website, the photos, the products — was learned and made by me.

As a musician, I always suffered from a lack of good-quality accessories. I'm a bassoonist, so I know how important reeds are, how delicate they are and how easily they can break. I always had this one problem: in most cases my reeds didn't sit tightly enough, and they kept getting moldy — and I thought that was normal. Even with the expensive ones. Until I tried to make something myself. I researched the structure of reeds, gathered feedback from my colleagues, and over time designed what you see now.

This is all partly a personal project. Partly, because I have a dream of building my own bassoon, and designing different things helps me work toward that goal! But my main goal right now is to bring our community what I think it lacks — individuality, colour, expression. Our instruments, accessories and tools are a part of ourselves and our performance, so why should we ignore them?
