Save desk space and keep your reeds perfectly organised with this stackable bassoon reed drying rack - designed for 10 to 14 reeds and built to grow upwards instead of spreading across your workspace.

Each rack is 3D-printed in my small home workshop in Germany and carefully assembled by hand. The magnetic pins hold each reed securely in place while allowing easy removal after drying. Side connectors - reinforced with magnets - let you stack multiple units on top of each other for a clean, compact setup.

Using just one rack? Included plug covers neatly close the connector slots for a clean, finished look - no gaps, no exposed holes.

Dimensions of every rack are 195x68x20. Height of pins is 56mm.

Available in custom colors to match your studio or practice space. A practical and beautifully designed addition to any bassoonist's setup.

Included items:
- 14 pins with each layer. By default they are clear
- 4 caps to close holes for connectors
- For 2+ layers I will put connectors respectively. By default they are black

Because of design and production problems, marble color is temporary not available for this rack

Magnetic design

Pins stay securely inside on magnets and thanks to small trays now can be taken out or installing inside without taking other layers off

Layer holders

Two improved holders that attach and hold the rack firmly on their own.

Holder holes can be closed with a special magnetic plug (if you don’t intend to stack racks).

P.S. As it’s pretty secure ok it’s own, I still recommend to be careful as it’s not intended to be dropped, shaken, or subjected to any sudden or strong movements. With 3+ levels a construction gets slightly unstable (understandable) and needs to be treated carefully

Special pins

Pin Size Matching Rieger Mandrels - I’ve carefully designed the pins to match Rieger’s mandrel dimensions, even including a small mark to indicate how far the reed should go.

3D printed from high-quality materials

3D printed, designed and assembled by me. Made from high-quality plastic and printed with high settings. It easily withstands drops and is non-toxic for reeds

CUSTOM COLORS AND 3D EFFECTS

I offer the option to customize your case with your choice of main color, silicone strap, and/or a 3D surface effect. There are many possibilities - just contact me, and I’ll help you choose the right colors and explore what I can do for you!

I also create cases with three different 3D surface effects that become visible under light. Simply let me know which type you prefer
Important - due to the special surface coating and its reflective nature, it can easily pick up scratches, so please keep that in mind! These may be visible depending on the viewing angle but will not interfere with the main pattern in any way
